Thai civilians shelter at evacuation center amid clashes with Cambodia

As artillery fire echoes along the Thai-Cambodian border, thousands had fled their homes in Thailand's Surin province. Within 10 hours of the deadly clashes, one of the province's main evacuation centers had taken in around 3,000 people. "At least we're safe. My whole family made it out together," says Thidarat Homhuan, an evacuee now sheltering at Surindra Rajabhat University.
