FBR New Property Valuation Law 2025 | Property Owners Can Now Fix Property Value | Real Estate Update Pakistan

While property owners cannot fully "fix" the property value in 2025 according to their own discretion, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has introduced a new requirement for taxpayers to declare the "Fair Market Value of Property" in their income tax returns starting July 1, 2025. This addition aims to align property valuations more closely with market rates and will affect capital gains tax and stamp duties on property transactions
