3rd Avenue Blues Band is one of those early 70s Blue-eyed jazz funk band like "Tower of Power", "Albert", ... This LP was recorded at IRI Studios, Dallas, Texas and contains wonderful soul funk tunes sang by the black singer Harold Jones.

The best track is maybe the terrific funky "Come on and Get It" but this album includes some great remakes of Isley Brothers, Eddie Harris ... (Groove Collector)
