A reporter with Kurdish broadcaster Rudaw TV was beginning a live transmission when Israeli airstrikes hit the Syrian Defense Ministry in the heart of Damascus on Wednesday.

The reporter was interrupted by the sound of aircraft overhead and a first explosion was seen in the background.

Several more loud explosions were heard as the team ran for cover.

The strike, which came hours after a drone strike on the same site in Syria's capital, killed three people and injured 34, Syrian officials said.
