Aizawl (Mizoram), June 29, 2025 (ANI): Mizoram to get its first ever railway line from Bairabi to Sairang. Sairang to become Mizoram’s first railway station after completion of the project. 51.38 kilometers long railway line to provide an alternative to airways in the region. Sanctioned in 2008-09, project of national importance took almost 18 years to be completed. 31% of the line passes through tunnel, 21% over bridge & 44% through deep cutting of mountains.
