On Friday 11th April, as a result of information and concerns received from the community, Officers from Blackpool Neighbourhood Police Team, Project Adder and Blackpool Task Force executed a Misuse Drugs Act Warrant at an address on Kingsland Grove, Blackpool. A search of the address was carried out and a handgun located which was recovered and assessed to be an imitation firearm.
Following enquiries at the address, the occupants were arrested and interviewed for offences relating to the supply of drugs. 22 year old Amer Hamid-Taha was charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A and B drugs and remanded to Court.
