French nationals evacuated from Israel land in Paris
One hundred and sixty French nationals arrived on an evacuation flight at Paris' Orly airport late on Sunday, June 22, after having left Israel via Jordan, as Iran and Israel continued to trade volleys of missile attacks.
Passengers said they were relieved to have made it back to France, but were thinking of those left in Israel who were trying to get back.
French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot met the passengers at the arrivals area in the airport. More flights are expected to arrive on Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24, according to a statement issued by the French government.
