Justice Yashwant Varma Case: जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा (Justice Yashwant Verma) के दिल्ली स्थित सरकारी आवास (Yashwant Verma House) में आग लगने की घटना हुई थी. उस वक्त जांच के दौरान स्टोर रूम से भारी मात्रा में 500 के जले-अधजले नोट मिलने का खुलासा हुआ था. सुप्रीम कोर्ट (Supreme Court) की तरफ से गठित जांच समिति (Supreme Court Investigation Team) ने अब पहली बार उन 10 चश्मदीदों के नाम सार्वजनिक किए हैं, जिन्होंने अपनी आंखों से उस कमरे में बिखरे हुए नोट देखे. इनमें दिल्ली फायर सर्विस (Delhi Fire Service) और पुलिस के अधिकारी शामिल हैं.
