Hospital in Petah Tikva evacuates patients underground as Iranian missiles hit Israel
A hospital in central Israel evacuated patients on Sunday, June 15, into repurposed underground levels serving as emergency wards protected from Iranian missile attacks, Beilinson hospital officials said.
Staff at the hospital in Petah Tikva have moved some 250 patients into underground wards and 200 more to protected zones since the start of the conflict between Israel and Iran on Friday, the hospital said.
The measure were implemented as part of an emergency plan under direction from the Israeli Health Ministry.
