An Air India AI171 plane bound for London with 242 passengers onboard crashed in Gujarat's Ahmedabad on June 12, confirms State Police Control Room. The smoke can be seen emanating from the site of the Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad. Reportedly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to the Gujarat CM, Home Minister and the Police Commissioner regarding the plane crash. The Union Home Minister has also assured to provide Central government assistance.
