PAGASA: Monsoon rains to persist over parts of Luzon, weather to improve towards weekend

Rains brought by the southwest monsoon (habagat) will continue to affect parts of Luzon through midweek, with improving weather expected towards the end of the week, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Monday, June 2.
