After attending the White House Easter Egg Roll event on April 21, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth lashed out at what he called media “hoaxters” as he defended himself against reports claiming that he shared sensitive information for a second time in a chat on the Signal app.

US President Donald Trump said he stands behind Hegseth who he said had done a great job since assuming office on Jan 25.
