A five-member Supreme Court judges' delegation, led by Justice D.R. Kavai, has arrived in Manipur to assess the ongoing humanitarian crisis. The judges are visiting relief camps and meeting internally displaced persons in Churachanpur and Vishnupur. The visit comes amid sporadic incidents of violence following the 2023 unrest, which resulted in over 200 deaths and thousands displaced. Security measures have been heightened for the delegation's visit.
