The implementation of renewable energy exports through the Energy Exchange Malaysia (ENEGEM) is based on excess electricity from the existing electricity supply system, said the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation.

Deputy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir explained the sale of renewable energy supply from the electricity supply system was made based on the highest bid tariff offer.
