A woman was left shocked after a stranger pointed out she was the doppelgänger of a 1909 painting.

Riley Madison Ladner, 22, from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, USA, had never heard of "At the Dressing Table" a painting by Russian artist Zinaida Serebriakov.

But someone messaged her on TikTok and told her about the uncanny resemblance.

Riley initially brushed it off but when she started receiving more messages she decided to look it up.

Riley was stunned to see a near-identical version of herself.
