In a court filing, the company said Unilever’s ice cream chief unilaterally banned it from making posts criticizing Trump, citing the company’s restructuring. The lawsuit seeks to block Unilever from allegedly dismantling Ben & Jerry’s independent board and ending its social activism. The two companies have clashed over governance since 2021. Unilever plans to list the spinoff in Amsterdam.
