Thousands of Bristolians gathered for this year’s Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade (January 18).
The free event lit the streets of Bedminster with a spectacular lantern parade celebrating the theme of ‘Bristol Together’.
The lanterns were created by the community including primary schools and featured butterflies, birds and the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge among many other forms.
The lively Bristol Samba band, Jump Street and City of Bristol Pipers and Drums brought the tunes of the parade.
The large parade of illuminated lanterns made its way through North Street, Cannon Street and South Street.
