Youth leaders must uphold democracy, justice, and the spirit of Bangsa Malaysia to ensure the nation's survival and greatness, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking at the 73rd annual general assembly of the Malaysian Youth Council (MBM) on Friday (Jan 10), Anwar emphasised the critical role of young leaders in combating corruption and championing efforts to uplift the poor.

Anwar, who served as MBM’s sixth president, also cautioned against being swayed by racial and religious rhetoric designed to distract from the pursuit of truth and justice.
