Vande Bharat Express to run between Nagpur-Pune, Nagpur-Mumbai; Announcement likely soon .......... Nagpur - In the coming months, Vande Bharat Express is likely to run between Nagpur to Pune and Nagpur to Mumbai. The newly appointed DRM of Nagpur, Vinayak Garg, informed that a proposal in this regard has been submitted to the Railway Board by the Nagpur Board of Central Railway. Currently, three Vande Bharat Expresses are running from Nagpur, namely Nagpur-Secunderabad, Nagpur-Indore and Nagpur Bhopal. Two new Vande Bharat Expresses will be added to it. The number of passengers travelling on both the Nagpur to Mumbai and Nagpur to Pune routes is significant. However, since the number of trains is limited, a long waiting list was also prepared three months ago, so needy passengers have to spend money in advance and choose the option of private buses. Therefore, in this regard, for the last few years, there has been a demand from passengers to start new trains on both the Nagpur to Mumbai and Nagpur to Pune routes. Accordingly, the Nagpur Division of the Central Railway has submitted a proposal to the Railway Board to start the Vande Bharat Express on this route. It takes at least 10 to 15 hours to travel on both the Nagpur to Mumbai and Nagpur to Pune routes, so it has been demanded that while starting the Vande Bharat Express, it should be of sleeper class. It takes 16 hours to travel between Nagpur and Mumbai by Mail Express, while it takes 12 to 13 hours by Superfast Express. Whereas, Duronto Express reaches Mumbai in 11 to 12 hours. Even after the launch of Vande Bharat Express, the journey will be completed in only 10 hours. Similarly, the journey between Nagpur and Pune takes 15 to 16 hours. Vande Bharat will reduce this journey by two to three hours. Approximately 5 to 6 thousand passengers travel on the Nagpur-Pune route every day. Currently, Nagpur-Pune Superfast Express runs from Nagpur thrice a week and Garib Rath Express runs thrice a week. Apart from this, there is also Humsafar Express once a week. However, the waiting list for travel in all these trains is very long. Apart from this, there is also Azad Hind Express, Hatia Pune. However, tickets are not available for them. During festivals, the situation becomes that griem, which cannot even be described. The same situation is also between Nagpur and Mumbai. There are two trains, Vidarbha Express from Gondia to Mumbai and Sevagram Express from Nagpur to Mumbai, but the waiting in them never ends, according to the experience of passengers. Now, with the advent of Vande Bharat Express, passengers are expressing their expectation that travel on both routes will be easier.
