Darren was certain that the subject of this video was going to fumble his golf swing attempt, but he never expected him to mess it up in such a hilariously unconventional way.

"I filmed this video because I thought he was going to fall backward into the ditch," Darren told WooGlobe. "Turns out, he managed to hit himself in the face with the golf ball."

The way the golf ball flies into his face is so funny that viewers will likely rewatch the botch, as comical fails like this don't happen every day.

Luckily, Darren had the camera rolling—otherwise, he might have had a hard time convincing people what actually went down.
