A spherical robot capable of operating both on land and in water recently patrolled alongside police officers in a commercial area in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province.
Weighing 125 kilograms, the robot can reach speeds of up to 35 kilometers per hour. The project was developed by a research team led by Wang You, associate professor at Zhejiang University’s College of Control Science and Engineering.
