A reckless e-scooter rider was caught on video travelling at 10mph on Birmingham's Aston Expressway amid 60mph winds during Storm Darragh on Saturday, 7 December.

Footage shows the man, dressed in black and riding in heavy rain, navigating the busy motorway, which has a 50mph speed limit.

Social media users have criticised the dangerous stunt, with some calling it "moronic" and "lucky he wasn't killed."

The incident occurred on the same day a man died in Birmingham after a tree fell on his car.

West Midlands Police has been contacted for comment.
