Synopsis:
In the quiet town of Willow Creek, Rachel Thorn, a young college student, arrives for the summer to stay with her enigmatic aunt, Mrs. Agatha Thorn, in the hope of escaping her mundane life. Little does Rachel know that the Thorn mansion is a labyrinth of secrets and horrors. From the moment she steps through the creaking door, Rachel feels a chilling presence in the air. Her aunt's peculiar behavior only adds to the sense of unease, as Aunt Agatha seems to know more than she lets on about the whispers and chilling melodies that echo through the hallowed halls.
As Rachel unpacks her things, she stumbles upon a dusty, untouched nursery, its walls adorned with faded wallpaper of singing birds and rocking horses. Here, she experiences her first vision of the ghostly figure, a young woman dressed in tattered finery, who sings a haunting lullaby that Rachel can't shake from her mind. The woman seems to beckon Rachel closer, urging her to uncover the truth behind the tragedies that have occurred within these walls.
The nursery's haunting tune, "Rock a Bye Baby," plays on repeat in Rachel's mind, leading her down a dark path of family secrets, betrayal, and vengeance. Rachel's curiosity turns to obsession as she discovers that the nursery has a sinister history of unexplained deaths and disappearances, all connected to the Thorn family lineage. With each page turned, Rachel becomes more entwined in the spirit's story, uncovering the grisly details of a love affair gone wrong and a mother's desperate act of protection that led to her own demise.
As Rachel delves deeper, she realizes that Aunt Agatha's sanity may not be as solid as it seems. Rachel's dreams become plagued with nightmares of the past, and she begins to question her own reality. The line between the living and the dead blurs as the spirit's presence becomes more malevolent, demanding Rachel's help to set things right.
