“We redwoods are a very special species on this planet. We connect with Mother Earth so deeply, so we don’t address each other by name. We recognize each other by our personalities. My people call me Beauty because I have the essence of beauty from Mother Earth.”

“All the tree people are a very peaceful family. We are here to protect Mother Earth. We are here to help the humans and animals. We are a peaceful family.”

“I felt that I’m losing my family, dying one by one. They’re getting chopped down, but their hands are holding together and they’re crying, they’re shouting, and they’re screaming.”

She said, “I don’t remember seeking help for myself, but I did call out for help to the Moon, the Sun, the Earth, Heaven, and to God, pleading, ‘Please stop!’”
