Blade: Marvel Studios finally gives good news for the film

The long-awaited reboot of Blade has been developed by Marvel Studios since 2019, a film that unfortunately continues to suffer delays and changes in the creative team.

The Blade film recently lost its second director and even lost its release date, previously scheduled for November 2025.

And to make matters worse, Marvel did not reveal a new forecast for the film to hit theaters. In other words, fans were already fearing a possible cancellation.

But now Kevin Feige himself, the President of Marvel Studios, has confirmed that the Blade film remains in full development:

“We are committed to Blade. We love the character, we love Mahershala's version of him. And rest assured: whenever we change direction with a project, or are still trying to understand how it fits into our agenda, we inform the public. You are up to date with what is happening. I can say that the character will arrive in the MCU.”
