Blade will only be important for the NEXT MCU saga

Blade: Vampire Hunter had its film announced before the start of the Multiverse Saga, but it should only appear AFTER that.

Mahershala Ali's Blade has been indirectly surrounding the MCU for over 5 years. After all, the Vampire Hunter reboot was announced BEFORE the Multiverse Saga even began.

But, as we can see, the film didn't happen and is still far from hitting theaters. Apparently, this delay in bringing the hero to the MCU won't make that much of a difference.

As a new rumor claims that the idea is just to introduce Blade and more of the supernatural side of the MCU. According to insiders Daniel RPK and Alex Perez, the idea is that this supernatural side will be important IN THE NEXT MCU SAGA.

The idea for Blade is to have a development similar to that of Doctor Strange, when he was introduced in the MCU: Establishing him as a character and his corner of the universe in the previous saga.

So that this corner (in this case the supernatural) will be heavily explored in the next saga.

In other words, the entire role of the new Blade in the MCU will be completely INTRODUCTORY for now! Which makes a lot of sense.
