Philippine eaglet hatches in new sanctuary
A baby Philippine eagle has hatched in the archipelago nation with the help of artificial insemination, sparking hope that the critically endangered species can be saved from extinction. Video footage showed 'Chick Number 30' hatching out of its shell on Nov. 11, 2024 at the newly opened National Bird Breeding Sanctuary in the southern city of Davao.
