Liam Payne laid to rest today. Just over one month after his passing, Liam Payne has been laid to rest. A private funeral was held for the singer, who passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony, earlier today in the London area. Former One Direction bandmates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan were all reportedly in attendance, along with Simon Cowell, James Corden, Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy, and other close family members and friends. 58th annual CMA Awards air tonight. Voice actor Dan Hennessey, known for roles in Inspector Gadget , Little Bear , and Care Bears , dies at 82. Known as the beloved voice behind characters such as Chief Quimby from Inspector Gadget , Father Bear from Little Bear , and Brave Heart Lion from the Care Bears , Dan Hennessey became a familiar and comforting voice to children all around the world. The Canadian-born actor also lent his voice to popular features such as 1988's RoboCop, 1989's Beetlejuice series, and 1992's X-Men: The Animated Series . His passing was confirmed by family members after he reportedly passed away in his sleep due to complications with Parkinson's disease. National Child's Day is celebrated.
