Glasgow’s festive season has officially started as the Christmas lights were switched on at George Square on Sunday 17 November, in what was the coldest night of the year so far.

Almost 10,000 tickets were distributed by a randomised ballot and the lucky attendees got to witness a state of the art lighting and projection show following ample entertainment.
