Costco and its customers must dispose of nearly 80,000 pounds of Kirkland Signature Sweet Cream Butter due to a labeling issue. The FDA recalled the butter for failing to declare “contains milk” despite listing cream as an ingredient. Many social media users have mocked the situation, pointing out the obvious milk content in butter. The CDC notes that milk is among the most common causes of severe allergic reactions in the U.S. Affected customers are advised to discard or return the butter to Costco.
