Malaysia Airlines on-time performance improves to over 80% in October, Dewan Rakyat hears

The on-time performance (OTP) performance of national carrier Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAB) has improved to more than 80 per cent in October 2024, said Datuk Hasbi Habibollah.
The Deputy Transport Minister told the Dewan Rakyat on Monday (Nov 11) that the improvement follows MAB’s announcement in August to scale back its flight network.
Additionally, he said MAB has developed a mitigation plan to address improvements identified in the recent Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) investigation.
