Aloo palak is a North Indian dish of potatoes and spinach that's a staple in both Pakistani and Indian cuisine. The name comes from the Hindi words aloo ("potato") and palak ("spinach").
Aloo Palak Recipe:
Spinach / Palak ( After Cutting ) 1 kg
Water 500 ml or 2 Glass
Bring It To Boil
Cover The Lid Cook On Low Flame For 30 Minutes
Ghee 200 gm
Onion / Pyaaz ( Thin Slice ) 2 Medium
Tomato ( Make A Paste ) 2 Big
Onion / Pyaaz Cook Until Golden
Cumin Seed / Zeera 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic / Adrak Lehsan Paste 2 tbsp
Saute With Some Water
Red Chilli / Lal Mirch Powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric / Haldi Powder 1/2 tsp
Coriander / Dhanya Powder 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Flakes / Kuti Lal Mirch 1 tsp
Saute With Some Water
Add Tomato Paste
Pink Salt / Namak 1 tbsp or To Taste
Potato / Aloo ( Cut Into Cubes ) 2 Big or 500 gm
Water 1/2 Cup
Cover The Lid Cook On Low Flame For 10 Minutes
Grind Spinach / Palak When Cooked
Green Chilli / Hari Mirch 3 to 4
Yogurt / Dahi ( Whisked ) 1/2 Cup or 125 gm
Add Grinded Spinach / Palak
Cover The Lid Cook On Low Flame For 10 Minutes
Saute On Hi Flame Until Oil Separated
Black Pepper / Kali Mirch Powder 1/2 tsp
Dried Fenugreek / Kasoori Methi 1 tbsp
Hot Spices / Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Green Coriander / Hara Dhanya 1/2 Cup
Aloo Palak Ready To Serve
