The Dallas Mavericks put up their highest-scoring game of the season but couldn’t secure the win, falling 134-127 to the Indiana Pacers in a fast-paced, high-scoring showdown. Though they struggled early, Dallas clawed back from a 13-point deficit to tie the game at 104 early in the fourth quarter.
Luka Dončić (34 points), Kyrie Irving (27), and Naji Marshall (20) each notched 20+ points, marking the first time this season Dallas had three players reach that milestone. The Mavs hit 41.7% from three, making 15+ triples for the third time this season and 10+ in all seven games—a rare feat in franchise history.
After the game, Dončić acknowledged the intense pace, especially coming off back-to-back games: “There was a lot of tempo in this game, and it was hard to do a back to back.”
For Indiana, Myles Turner led with 30 points and 11 rebounds, ending their three-game road losing streak. The Mavericks next face the Chicago Bulls at home on Wednesday, hoping to bounce back.
