The last two remaining hospitals in northern Gaza—Kamal Adwan and al-Awda—are struggling to provide emergency care under siege, with supplies dwindling and shelling close by. The World Health Organization reports that healthcare in Gaza is at a breaking point, with attacks on medical facilities rising. As hospitals face life-threatening shortages, more than 450 attacks on Gaza’s healthcare system have been recorded since October 2023. Humanitarian groups warn that the absence of safe medical care puts thousands, including 14,000 pregnant and breastfeeding women, at extreme risk.
