Quiambao contributes 33 points to help Archers stop Blue Eagles

Reigning MVP Kevin Quiambao posted a new career-best 33 points as defending champ De La Salle stopped Ateneo, 80-65, to roll to its seventh straight win in the UAAP Season 87 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.

Quiambao, who shot 10-of-22 from the field including 5-of-11 from deep, also logged 13 rebounds and two assists.

The Green Archers rose to a league-best 10-1 slate while the Blue Eagles dropped to second-worst 3-7 record.
