Best known for giving his voice to the iconic Love Boat theme song, singer Jack Jones' decades-long career in music cemented him as one of the greats. Born into show business, his natural-born talent led him to release a multitude of hit songs, including his 1962 Grammy-winning recording of 'Lollipops and Roses,' 1963's 'Wives and Lovers,' and 1966's 'The Impossible Dream.' Throughout his career, Jones earned himself 5 total Grammy nominations, taking home 2 awards. He passed away on Wednesday following a two-year-long battle with leukemia. His passing was confirmed by stepdaughter Nicole Whitty in a statement made to The Hollywood Reporter. Global Champagne Day is celebrated around the world.
