Creators of new Lord of the Rings anime film speak at NYC's Comic Con
The crew of a new animated movie “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim” showed off the first fruits of their work at Comic Con in New York on Friday, October 18.
Japanese filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama directed the movie, Joseph Chou produced it, and actors Gaia Wise and Luke Pasqualino voiced the parts of Hera and Wulf.
Set 183 years before the events chronicled in the original trilogy of films, “The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim” tells the story of the House of Helm Hammerhand, the legendary King of Rohan.
The film will come to US theaters on December 13, 2024, and will be distributed internationally starting on 11 December 2024.
