In the morning wind begins to ease for most, however heavy rain continues in the southeast of England. Elsewhere remains relatively dry, with brighter skies for most. Showery conditions in central and western Scotland, as well as parts of Northern Ireland and Wales but these are expected to clear by the afternoon.
