Nihon Hidankyo, a grassroots Japanese anti-nuclear weapons organization, has won the Nobel Peace Prize for its work. Created by survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the group has worked for years to rid the world of nuclear weapons.
