Following a rear-end collision between the Mysuru-Darbhanga Express and a goods train near Kavarappettai, locals from Tiruvallur’s Kavaraipettai provided water and biscuits to stranded passengers. Around 12-13 coaches of the train were derailed. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported so far, and rescue operations are ongoing.
