A former police officer has pleaded guilty to sex offences after he was confronted by paedophile hunters outside his home.
Christopher Sheldrick, 56, was arrested on September 29 after being approached by a member of The Ghosts Online Child Protection Team.
Sheldrick, of Gorleston, Norfolk, was then charged with engaging in sexual communication with a child.
He was also charged with attempting to breach a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and failing to comply with notification requirements of the sex offender register.
He was remanded and appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on October 5 where he pleaded guilty to all three offences.
