Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz reframed Vice President Kamala Harris’ stance on abortion Tuesday night at CBS’ vice presidential debate after his opponent, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, called them “pro-abortion.”

“No, we’re not,” Walz said. “We’re pro-women. We’re pro-freedom to make your own choice.”

With just more than a month to go before Election Day, Vance and Walz met for their first and only vice presidential debate on Oct. 1, hosted by CBS in New York.
