सर्वपितृ अमावस्या 02 अक्टूबर को मनाई जाएगी। इस दिन साल का अंतिम सूर्य ग्रहण भी है। यह ग्रहण भारत में दिखाई नहीं देगा। इसी वजह से इसका सूतक काल मान्य नहीं होगा। सूर्य ग्रहण पेरू, फिजी, प्रशांत महासागर, आर्कटिक और दक्षिणी अमेरिका समिति आदि देशों में देखने को मिलेगा।सूर्यग्रहण के दौरान गर्भवती महिलाओं को कुछ बातों का विशेष ख्याल रखना चाहिए। ऐसे में चलिए बताते हैं सूतक काल नहीं लगने पर गर्भवती महिलाओं को नियम मानने चाहिए या नहीं.
