Bichon Frize Breed Facts
Curiosities
They were the pets of a French king, Francis I, and also of his successor, Henry III. There are stories that Henry III carried his Bichon Frisé dog on his shoulder, in a basket, everywhere, because he was so passionate about the breed. Furthermore, they were used as bargaining chips by sailors because of their success. Bichóns were loved by powerful people for a long time, being at the time an exclusive breed for aristocrats. Over time, many of them were abandoned on the streets and adopted by circus performers, who saw many advantages in this breed: intelligent and loyal, they obeyed and learned very easily, giving an extra touch to circus performances. Although the breed exists in Brazil, it is much less popular than the poodle.

Coat
With a completely white, fine and silky coat, they look like cotton balls. Its coat is very loose and curly. It is common for specimens of the breed to undergo an exclusive grooming technique, which leaves them with a very cute appearance, with a very rounded head and very evident eyes.

Coexistence
You can already see that the little animal is not a difficult pet to deal with. He is sociable and loves to play. The Bichon Frisé has a temperament that delights and pleases everyone. Therefore, it is impossible to resist this pet.
It is no wonder that the breed is considered one of the calmest in the animal world. She interacts well with other domestic pets and children. Furthermore, the pet also tends to get along well with strangers.

Socialization
As we already mentioned, the Bichon Frisé is one of those dogs that loves to be close to people they like. Therefore, avoid leaving him alone at home for a long time. This dog is also ideal for families with small children and has no problems receiving visitors.
He loves being the center of attention and will love having more people to please him. However, it is worth mentioning that, as with any pet, it is necessary to train it from a young age to avoid behavioral problems.
