Mapua Cardinals beat JRU Heavy Bombers

Mapua University captured back-to-back wins after outplaying Jose Rizal University, 88-81, in the NCAA Season 100 men’s basketball tournament at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Sunday, Sept. 29.

Clint Escamis led the scoring for the Cardinals with his 19-point outing, four rebounds, and two assists.

Throughout the clock, the Heavy Bombers tried to trim the lead, but Escamis responded with a bucket to not allow JRU to trail closer.
