Once upon a time, in a sunny little farm, there lived a small, fluffy chick named Chippy. He was always curious, wandering around the farm, exploring every corner. One morning, while his mother hen was busy scratching for food, Chippy wandered off to chase a beautiful butterfly. He flapped his tiny wings and ran after it with excitement.
But soon, Chippy realized something was wrong. He looked around and couldn’t see his mother anywhere. “Mama?” he chirped, but no answer came. Chippy had wandered too far and now he was lost.
Feeling scared and alone, Chippy decided to be brave and find his way back home. As he walked through the tall grass, he met a wise old owl perched on a tree branch.
“Mr. Owl, I’m lost! I can’t find my mother. Can you help me?” asked Chippy.
The owl looked down kindly. “Stay calm, little one. Your mother is surely looking for you too. Follow the trail you came from and listen closely. Your heart will guide you back.”
Chippy thanked the owl and continued his journey. Along the way, he met a friendly squirrel. “Are you looking for your mama?” the squirrel asked.
Chippy nodded. The squirrel pointed toward a pond nearby. “I saw a worried hen calling for someone over there.”
Filled with hope, Chippy hurried to the pond. As he reached the edge of the water, he heard a familiar voice.
“Chippy!” It was his mother, calling his name! Overjoyed, Chippy rushed into her warm wings.
“Oh, Chippy! I was so worried,” she clucked, hugging him close.
“I’m sorry, Mama. I won’t wander off again,” Chippy promised.
From that day on, Chippy learned an important lesson: no matter how exciting the world may seem, home and family are where you truly belong.
