Hazrat Jabir (RA) narrates, Abu Bakr (RA) wanted to seek permission to attend the service of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), so he found people sitting at the door, none of whom had received permission. The narrator narrates: Abu Bakr When he got permission, he went inside, then Umar came, and he asked for permissionPermission was also granted, they found the Prophet ﷺ sitting silently in distress while his holy wives were around him. The narrator narrates: He (i.e. Umar) said: I will say something that will make the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laugh. He said: Messenger of Allah! If the foreigner's daughter asked me for alms, I would have wringed her neck. Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam smiled and said: "They have surrounded me, as you see, and are asking me for alms." (On hearing this) Abu Bakr went towards Aisha and reprimanded her, and Umar cut the neck of Hafsa. and they were both saying: You demand something from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, which he does not have. They said: By Allah! We will never ask the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for something that you do not have, then you stayed away from him for a month or twenty-nine days, and then this verse was revealed: “O Prophet! Say to your wives... The reward for those among you who do good is great.
Narrator narrates, the Prophet ﷺ spoke to Aisha first and said: “Aisha! I want to present something to you, and I like that you should not hasten about it until you consult your parents.'' He said, Messenger of Allah! What is that? He recited that verse to them, so they said: Messenger of Allah! Shall I consult my parents about you? No, but I submit to Allah, His Messenger, and the Hereafter, and I demand that you do what I have spoken to you as your wives. Do not tell any of the holy people, he said: "Whatever you ask of me, I will certainly do it."I will tell you, because Allah did not send me (people) to make them suffer and suffer, but He sent me as a teacher to make things easy.'' Narrated by Muslim.
