Efforts are underway to recover historical records about Malaysia that are currently not in the nation's possession, but the allocated budget for this endeavor is insufficient, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Speaking to reporters after inaugurating the two-day History and National Unity 2024 Convention on Thursday (Sept 19), Ahmad Zahid acknowledged that while the cost of acquiring these historical items may be high, it is essential to bring them back to Malaysia to preserve them as historical evidence.
