A runaway driver who repeatedly rammed police cars during a desperate bid to avoid capture has been jailed.

Sean Hood, aged 36, was spotted driving recklessly in Nuthall Road, Nottingham, in the early hours of Sunday 2 June this year.

After ignoring demands to stop from a following police vehicle he fled at speed – passing through red lights and driving directly into oncoming traffic.
