Quintet from Parma, formed in 1971 from the ashes of Gli Immortali, a group that included lead vocalist Bernardo Lanzetti who had just returned from the USA where he lived for a while. After one single, many concerts and as supporter for the Rolling Stones during their 1970 Italian tour they were noticed by Premiata Forneria Marconi, who introduced them to thei manager Franco Mamone. With the new name Acqua Fragile the group managed to play support for Soft Machine, Uriah Heep, Gentle Giant, Curved Air, Tempest, Alexis Korner and Audience. In 1973 they released their debut album "Acqua Fragile". The LP includes seven long tracks, with good instrumental parts and Lanzetti's hoarse voice, some West Coast influences, and heavy British progressive symphonic rock inspirations, with hints of folk.
